Eligibility Criteria
  1. Abstract of original research should NOT have been presented or published at any local or international scientific journal and conferences.

  2. The presenting author MUST register for the conference.

  3. Participants may submit more than ONE abstract.

  4. Abstracts must be written and presented in ENGLISH.

  5. All clinical studies will be considered. This includes observational or interventional studies, cross sectional surveys, case series, and case reports.

  6. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to decide on the acceptance of abstracts for poster presentation and the committee’s decision is final.

  7. Abstracts will be accepted upon full registration of the author as a participant of the MPCS ASM 2024.

Submission Guidelines
  1. All abstracts must be submitted online via https://www.mpcs-events.com/abstract (in Microsoft Word/ PDF format)

  2. Hard copy submissions will not be accepted. For any issues or revisions of submitted abstract kindly contact the MPCS Annual Scientific Meeting 2024 Secretariat at secretariat@mpcs-events.com.

  3. Abstracts must be submitted latest by 10th August 2024 at 23:59 (MYT, GMT+8).
    Late submissions or incomplete abstracts will not be accepted.

  4. The Secretariat will notify participants regarding the results of their submission via email by 7th September 2024.

  5. The presenting authors MUST register for the congress latest by 9th September 2024 at 23:59 (MYT, GMT+8)
    Failure to submit your registration by this date may result in your abstract selection being retracted/ revoked.

  6. When submitting, presenters are NOT ALLOWED to choose their preferred presentation category. Selection of the abstract’s presentation category will be done by a panel of experts based strictly on scientific merits of the abstract.
    Categories:
    - Interesting Case Presentation 
    - Meet The Expert Session
    - Moderated Poster Presentation
    - Non-moderated Poster Presentation

  7. Abstracts not selected for Interesting Case / Meet The Expert / Moderated Poster Presentations will be automatically transferred as Non-moderated Poster Presentation.

  8. Abstracts will be published exactly as submitted.

  9. Abstracts will be accepted upon full registration of the author as a participant of the MPCS ASM 2024.

Submission Format:
  1. The abstract should not exceed 250 words limit and include the following sections:
    • Background / Introduction
    • Methodology / Case Summary
    • Results; and
    • Discussions / Conclusions

  2. Title: Capitalise each word except prepositions (e.g. as, or, for, and, with).

  3. Author and co-authors: The first name is the presenting author. First name/ middle name use initial, last name (surname) in full. Do not use titles (e.g. Dr) or degrees (e.g. MD). When more than one author are listed, use numbers to match authors and institutions.

  4. Affiliations: Department, institution/hospital/organisation. Do not include the address. Example:​

   5. ​Do not include graphs, tables, figures, or references in the abstract.

   6. An abbreviation must be defined by placing it in parenthesis after the full word for the first time it appears.

   7. The abstract must be submitted by the PRESENTING AUTHOR only.

   8. Use numerals to represent numbers except when beginning a sentence.
